El fin de semana pasado me escapé con #TheSpartan al sureste de México. Estuvimos un par de días en San Cristobal de las Casas y de ahí nos fuimos a un recorrido por el Cañón del Sumidero.
Si hubiéramos tenido más tiempo (y no hubieran cerrado la carretera justo ese día), seguro también hubiéramos aprovechado para ir a Palenque, pero bueno. El viaje no es nada caro. Hay montones de agencias que arreglan las visitas desde San Cristobal hasta aquí por aproximadamente $300 pesos y ya incluye el transporte, la entrada al Cañón (que son como $25 pesos) y una escala de una hora en un pueblito llamado Chiapas de Corzo. Eso sí, si se les ocurre ir a medio día, llévense bloqueador solar y mucho ánimo para aguantar el calor y la humedad.

This past weekend I made a little trip with #TheSpartan to the southeast of Mexico. We were a couple of days in San Cristobal de las Casas and from there we took a tour to El Cañón del Sumidero.
If we had had a bit more of time (and the highway had not been closed that day) probably we could have been to Palenque but anyway this was a cool trip and not expensive at all. It was like $300 pesos that included transportation to the place, the entrance to El Cañón (which was $25 pesos) and a quick stop to a little village named Chiapas de Corzo.
My only recommendation in case you are here by noon is to bring your sunscreen as well as lots of enthusiasm to deal with both the sun and humidity! *and don't forget your camera, of course!
