Después de estar encerrada una semana con una gripa del mal, decidí que esta semana les voy a contar un poco del MATE, Museo Mario Testino que visité apenas en noviembre del año pasado. // After being home for a week recovering from a cold from hell, I've decided this week I'll tell you about the Mario Testino Museum, which I visited just a few months ago.

Liz, mi nueva amiga Peruana y mi papá me acompañaron en la aventura, y aunque no estaba muy convencido al principio, mi señor padre terminó sorprendido de la cantidad de gente que Testino ha retratado y todas las imágenes de él que ha visto sin saber que eran suyas. // A Peruvian friend and my father joined me in this adventure. He was kind of skeptical about coming with me but in the end he was gladly surprised to see all the people Testino has photographed and all of the pictures he's seen without knowing were his.

El museo en realidad es pequeño y se puede recorrer en una hora, aprox. Está en el distrito de Barranco, en el que hay varios restaurantes y atracciones turísticas que visitar antes o después de ir al MATE. // The museum is actually rather small and can easily be seen within an hour. It's located in the Barranco district, and there's plenty of restaurants and touristic attractions to visit before or after going to the MATE.
