I don't remember how I got there but I loved the way he talked about his day to day life, tech, and the things he found interesting to share, like this post about the synthetic acoustic environment of the ancient world, or this one about his process and the apps he uses to read and write for his blog.
To the left, there was a menu with contact info, key projects, and a section called Unoffice Hours.
Intrigued, I clicked and discovered this was a twist on the traditional office hours where he was offering to book a 30 min zoom call to talk about anything from discussing a blog post to getting feedback about a creative project, all in a casual setting.
I loved this concept and immediately booked a call!
I wished I could tell you what that chat was about but I don't remember the specifics. Knowing myself, I was probably either gushing on how cool this concept was or asking more about how he came up with it.
I recently thought about this and wondered what may have happened to this project after these years in between.
To my surprise, not only he's continued offering these 30 min. chats every week since 2020, but there's now a community of people across the globe replicating the concept, which I absolutely adore.
